In the Resources and Advocacy Unit, members build their leadership skills while co-facilitating unit meetings, leading writing groups, designing and editing the Clubhouse newsletter, and conducting daily outreach to other members. The Resources and Advocacy Unit also provides structure for Clubhouse members who want to learn and practice advocacy skills. Some of these specific tasks include assisting other members with:

  • housing
  • benefits counseling
  • landlord and tenant issues
  • business/financial management
  • filing tax returns
